Performance monitoring

Performance monitoring is a key part of the NIHR Clinical Research Network Study Support Service - helping researchers deliver studies on time and to target.

Our data systems collate site level information to provide study-wide oversight, which enables proactive performance monitoring and helps sites stay on top of their study performance to deliver on time and meet their recruitment target.

Our data systems provides unique access to study-wide recruitment data. When combined with the study specific review schedule, it enables a proactive approach for identifying and supporting studies which appear to be behind schedule in terms of meeting key targets.

Performance review lead

As part of this service, your study will be allocated a Performance Review Lead who will be responsible for monitoring the progress of your study through its life cycle. Your Performance Review Lead will be the main contact point for all study related queries after the study has opened to recruitment.

Regular performance review meetings will be scheduled and you are able to raise performance concerns at any time with this key contact.
